Mr. Penguin Platformer [DEMO 3]

Mr. Penguin is a side-scrolling, 8 bit platformer. The game features a small, blue penguin who must explore levels and defeat bosses to arrive at the evil emperor's castle.
- CONTROLS (Refresh if keys are not responding.)
Arrow keys to walk
Space to jump / double jump
To slide forward, hold the DOWN arrow while walking right, increasing your speed
To slide backwards, hold the UP arrow while walking left, increasing your speed
To use ground pound, press left shift while jumping
To climb ladders, use W to ascend and S to climb down
Slide into enemies to kill them
(This game is in a demo state, so it isn't finished yet.)

Solid ahh game frfr
Really? You think so? By the way I'm sorry for any lag, the game barely runs on devices with lower than 140 fps. The next update will fix that so you will be able to play on lower-frame devices. How did you find my game? I'm really happy you enjoyed it. :)
PS: There are still glitches to be fixed... I'll try my best to patch them.

I played until the big frog. I don't know how to pass that part.

TITLE SCREEN IS FINISHED AND THE SLIDE IS WAY SMOOTHER AND FASTER WOOOOOOO!
Pretty good game, I have a few complaints though. The slide is really weird, I found myself barely using it. I feel as if the slide should act more as a run button. You also lose momentum when jumping, and you don't regain that momentum when hitting the ground again. The bosses are also way to easy. Also, for some reason on the 3rd hit of the frog boss, you can't hit him any more, making the boss impossible. Other than that, the game is pretty fun and I enjoyed the platforming areas.
It actually is possible to beat the frog boss, I've done it many times when playtesting. It can be a bit challenging to beat him though on your first few attempts. Also sorry the slide is weird, I'll fix that in a new demo soon. Thanks for the feedback :)

Very interesting game. One piece of feedback I would give is that the penguin feels very slow, so it might be a good idea to increase the speed.
Thanks for feedback! I'm a teenager and this is my first game lmao. If you wanna go faster, while you are walking and you hold the down arrow, you will slide and begin to increase in speed. Also, how did you find my game, anyways?
I found your game, because I was just bored, and I was just looking at the most recent html5 free games. I'm also a teenager. It's pretty good for being your first game. I released mine a few months ago, and it was a lot more simplistic.
